Dr. Yoel R. Vivas is the founder of The Arrhythmia Center of South Florida and a recognized leader in cardiac electrophysiology. As a board-certified specialist, he is known for his high-volume experience in atrial fibrillation procedures and advanced ablation techniques. Dr. Vivas has played a key role in introducing cutting-edge treatments, including pulsed field ablation, helping position the practice at the forefront of innovation. His clinical focus includes the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of complex arrhythmias, as well as device implantation and heart failure therapies. Dr. Luis F. Mora serves as a leader in electrophysiology with extensive experience in both ablation therapies and device-based stroke prevention. As a board-certified clinical cardiac electrophysiologist, he has held a leadership role as Director of Electrophysiology, bringing a high level of clinical oversight to patient care. Dr. Mora specializes in cryoablation for atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia ablation, and left atrial appendage closure procedures designed to reduce stroke risk. His background includes advanced training in cardiology and electrophysiology, allowing him to manage both routine and highly complex rhythm disorders. His approach emphasizes careful evaluation, targeted treatment, and long-term management for improved patient outcomes.

Dr. Mark Freher is a board-certified electrophysiologist with decades of experience serving the South Florida community. He is recognized for his work in advanced cardiac device therapies, including being among the first in the region to implant dual-chamber leadless pacemakers. His clinical expertise includes lead extraction, left atrial appendage closure, and laser ablation for atrial fibrillation. Dr. Freher’s work reflects a commitment to innovation, bringing new technologies into clinical practice to improve safety and patient outcomes. Alexandra Bell, APRN, plays a critical role in delivering continuity of care across the patient journey. With advanced certifications as a Certified Electrophysiology Specialist and Certified Cardiac Device Specialist, she provides specialized expertise in device management, monitoring, and patient coordination. Since joining the practice, she has worked closely with the physician team to support diagnostics, procedures, and long-term follow-up. Her background includes advanced nursing training and experience in high-acuity clinical environments, contributing to her ability to manage complex cases with precision.
